I have extensive experience in leadership positions in both NHS and private sector.

MY CORE SKILLS

Psychological Therapy

I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist (doctorate in Clinical Psychology) with passion and expertise in assessing and treating mental health difficulties. I have over twenty years experiences in working with people experiencing psychological difficulties and I find that a cognitive-behavioural approach can help give the best outcomes while being collaborative and enabling clients to manage their own mental health in the future.

Consultation & Training

I have worked in the NHS and private sector, as Head of Service, managing and supervising psychologists and other professionals. Alongside my MSc. in Healthcare Leadership- I can offer organisations a range of training, supervision, reflective practise and consultation helping to improve therapy skills within the workplace, understanding a number of mental health issues and risk assessment courses.

Expert Witness

Having worked extensively with solicitors over the past nineteen years, I have provided numerous medico-legal assessments for criminal and family courts, parole board hearings and the Court of Appeal. I balance psychometric assessment with sensitive and independent evaluations so that the best outcomes can be found using expert psychological knowledge. I have appeared as an expert witness in court on over 75 occasions.
